DIRECTIONS & ARRIVAL INSTRUCTIONS

Apple Tree Cot, Armada Road, Cawsand, PL10 1PQ
Directions to Cawsand - BY CAR
If you are coming from the east, you have two options to cross the River Tamar into Cornwall; via the bridge at Saltash or the Torpoint car ferry. The bridge takes a little longer, however there can be queues for the ferry ferry at peak times in the summer holidays. The ferry gives you a great view of the river and the Devonport dockyard with the added bonus of a welcome break from the long drive.
Via the Torpoint Ferry: (www.tamarcrossings.org.uk, 01752 812233)
From the A38, take the exit onto the A374 direction Plymouth. The A374 takes you to the Torpoint Ferry and continues on from Torpoint on the other side of the river. Follow directions to the town centre or the continental ferry, if Torpoint is not marked. Once you are in the town centre follow directions to the Torpoint ferry.
Once you have crossed the river, continue on the A374 through Torpoint. Stay on this road until you see the sign post for Antony and take the left hand turn off up the hill through Antony. Continue until you reach a T-junction; turn left onto the B3247 all the way to Millbrook
Via the Tamar Bridge: (www.tamarcrossings.org.uk, 01752 361577)
Continue on the A38 over the Tamar Bridge. At the ‘Trerulefoot’ roundabout, take the exit for the A374 direction Torpoint. Continue for about 4 miles until you see a sign on the right handside for the B3247 towards Crafthole. From Crafthole stay on the B3247 to Millbrook.
From Millbrook:
On the B3247 there is a steep drop down into Millbrook at the bottom of which the road veers to the right; follow round to the right. Follow this road out of the village and up a hill. On the brow of the hill take the right hand turn clearly marked for Kingsand and Cawsand. This road takes you down into Cawsand Bay. Take the right hand fork to Cawsand (rather than Kingsand) at the bottom and continue round until you see the car park on your left.

Arrival in Cawsand – finding Apple Tree Cot
You can drive directly to Apple Tree Cot for unloading. Do not follow the ramp down into the carpark, instead take the left directly after this which takes you past a large black & white house on the left hand side. Take the sharp narrow left turn immediately after the house into Armada Road. Apple Tree Cot is located on the right hand side at the bottom of Armada Road just before you get to the Square.
Park outside Apple Tree Cot for unloading. The KEY to the cottage will be tucked under the water meter cover in the pavement just to the left of the front door as you face it. It is easy to locate the key, even in the dark, as it is on a large cork ball.
Once you have unloaded, drive into the Square and take the right hand road up and out of the Square back towards the carpark. Don't forget to pay for your parking before you leave your car!
